In Remembrance

John Burton Roberts Jr. (B.B.A. ’67), who spent nearly 30 years with Anheuser-Busch including the roles of chairman and president of Busch Entertainment Corp., died Sept. 4, 2021, in Austin. He was a Texas State Distinguished Alumnus, on the board of Texas Parks & Wildlife and the Southwest Research Institute, and a past chairman of the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions. Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Dedee Middleton Roberts (B.S. ’66), a son John Burton Roberts III, daughter-in-law Rachael, and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Brandon Roberts.
