The Texas State Bobcats will take a big leap into the new Pac-12 Conference this summer, part of one of the most dramatic conference realignments in this era of college sports.

If you’re planning to follow TXST on the road, get ready to head West. The Bobcats will travel to compete with schools in Colorado, California, Idaho, Oregon, Utah, and Washington.
The new Pac-12 will feature nine member schools when it launches in July, including two universities from the previous incarnation of the conference—Washington State and Oregon State. Five new members are transferring from the Mountain West Conference, while TXST is departing the Sun Belt Conference. One of the new members—Gonzaga—doesn’t play football, but the Bulldogs are a perennial powerhouse in men’s basketball.
While the Pac-12 is an athletic conference, the Western spirit of the new affiliation is generating excitement across TXST for both big games and a shared passion for innovation and scholarship.
First, we'll recap TXST's 3rd straight bowl winning season, and then let’s get to know our new neighbors and rivals in the brand-new era of the Pac-12.
